Microsoft France Site Defaced by Turkish Hackers "TiTHacK"  tankgen 13:05:07 |

Microsoft France was defaced today by Turkish crackers, going by the handle TiTHacK
The attackers notified that this was by "WEB SERVER INTRUSION", which could mean a possibility of either a vulnerability in IIS6 or a web-application running on the site.
In a slightly less embarrassing incident, it would seem that the experts at Microsoft France weren't so smart because experts.microsoft.fr was defaced over the weekend.
This particular hack was meant to be announced to the world because they posted themselves on to the Zone-H cybercrime archive. No malicious code was being hosted in this incident.
The defacement reads:

As of this writing, June 18, 2006 11:08 PST the site was still in a state of defacement. This attack come on the heels of a upswing in Turkish political defacements. |
